Batwing is the east-coast's only flying roller coaster and is featured only at Six Flags America. The coaster puts riders on their backs and then up 115 feet before you rotate 180 degrees facing down at the grown! Batwing drops downward to reach 50 mph not anything near the speed of a hyper-coaster but Batwing still gives rider a ride to remember. Batwing swings around a high banked turn and back flying toward the trees before getting thrown around on your back headed head first backwards into the vertical inversion. Batwing makes another turn around before a little track of ease. The coaster makes a sharp turn right and puts you through two barrel rolls and then through a helix to come out flip on your bake and feel the brakes and on into the station. Ok your off the coaster now and you don’t know which way is up or down but what ever you just rode gave you the trill of a lifetime. No batwing doesn't even look thrilling looking down from Superman but the coaster is one to ride. We have found the average wait for this ride is going to be around an hour but its well worth it. “I thought the ride would be one of those rides you get off and you smile but when I got off I wanted to know where I was and which way was up” Jonathan Swift. From our on-site poll we didn’t have many people rating the coaster below 9 and a lot of people wanted their 10 in the survey. The final rating we come up with from the crowds there was a 9.3! We really enjoyed the coaster and are interested to see one bigger and faster but we gave Batwing a 9 out of 10 rating. If you live in a 2 hour radius of Six Flags America visit soon.
